Awana Clubs, Wednesday evenings 6:00 to 7:30

Awana Clubs is a church ministry that helps children grow morally and spiritually. How? By teaching kids to apply the Bible to their lives!

Awana Clubs motivates children to learn God's Word by:

  • Offering kid-sized fun - games, prizes, awards, theme nights and more

  • Providing encouraging relationships with caring, qualified leaders!

Boys and girls love the excitement and appeal of our weekly meetings. While they're having a blast, they discover powerful truths from the Bible that will benefit them long into adulthood!

Awana Clubs is a local-church program making a global impact. Did you know that more than 12,000 churches across America run Awana Clubs - and over 7,000 churches, schools and orphanages around the world! That's because Jesus loves children everywhere - and we do too!

Thank you for supporting boys and girls in Awana Clubs!

Truth and Training (T & T) is for boys and girls grade 3rd through 6th grades. The group is divided into two divisions.

T & T Adventure is for 3rd and 4th grade clubbers and is loaded with activity and age-appropriate stuff.

T & T Challenge is for 5th and 6th graders. This group is more advanced and digs deeper into the meaning of life and how to face its many challenges.

Trek is for 7th to 12th grade boys and girls, and is based on the Word of God, preparing the youth to live Godly lives in this crazy world. The youth in this group will commit hundreds of Bible verses to memory, and be well prepared to face life's trials.

Bagdad Awana is now in the Grand Prix Business! The First Baptist Church in Tempe has donated a Grand Prix Track to our Awana Group. Awana Grand Prix is similar to the model car racing system that is used by the Boy Scouts. Kids will be able to purchase a block of wood and official Awana wheels soon and begin designing and building their racing cars. Below is a picture of the track and Pastor Reiter's good friend Don Halver. He and his wife Gail Were in Bagdad recently to deliver and help set up the track. Thank You Halvers and Tempe First Baptist Church.

We asked some kids, "Why do you love Awana's?". Here's what some of them said.

"Because we spread the gospel of Christ. Read Acts 17:16-34, Paul preaches in Athens."

"It gives me something to do instead of just sitting at home. Also I can see one of my friends."

"Because of all the games and I get to see my friends."

"It is fun, it makes me happy to learn about Jesus, and to walk justly with my God."

"I love to get involved in the Lord and to learn more about him also because I feel that you can never be close enough to God."

"It gives me time to get back into the Bible. Also it allows me to meet new people who love the Lord like I do."

"It's a good thing to learn about God here. And you get to hang out with friends."

"I get to learn about God and my Awana's teacher helps me with my problems. Thank you Jypsie I love you!!!"
