VBS 2011    This year's theme was "The Big Apple", and throughout the day there was a focus on the excitement of the "Big City". A total of twenty four leaders and helpers ministered to 106 kids with a high  attendance on Tuesday of 92.This was an opportunity for kids to take part in Bible studies, crafts, music and game times and each day closed with refreshments. A special emphasis was placed on world missions and an offering was given each day with the goal of sending packets of school supplies to kids in Africa. Over $300.00 was raised for this project. The churches sanctuary was set up to look like Grand Central Station and that's where the Missions lesson was presented. The week ended with a closing program on Friday where the kids enthusiastically performed songs and recited memory verses for parents and friends. At this program the kids learned that the girls had won the week-long competition of bringing in offerings for the missions project. Many thanks go out to all of the leaders and helpers, to all those who contributed supplies or funds, and to all the behind the scenes workers who helped make this year's program a huge success. Most of all thank God for the 13 kids who accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. Lets all remember to pray for them and ask God to continue to work in their lives.

The slide show is a small sample of photos that were taken throughout the week.
